Hayday is an alt-rock band hailing from Alameda, California. Starting initially as the bedroom project and Soundcloud alias of Hayden Cook in 2016, Hayday has now evolved into a dynamic ensemble, compromising also of guitarists Gil Aribon and Dante Jose, bassist Cole Baron, and drummer Jake Beales. Against the grain of post-context trends in the alternative musicsphere, their new album, Big Well, relentlessly attempts to attack the ever growing umbrellas that are "shoegaze" and "emo". From hi-fi slowcore to Ovlovesque, blown-out punk tracks and dense walls of feedback, Hayday is sure to tickle the fancy of any underground rock fan to some degree.
